MembershipThe National Guard Association of Vermont contributes to the preservation and enrichment of our heritage of freedom, democracy, and patriotism. The Association strives to foster and improve the Vermont National Guard and the National Guard of the United States, promote the national security of the citizens of our State and the nation, and promote esprit de corps and fellowship through social functions, benefit programs, and other activities for the members of this Association and their families. Active (Word) Retired Life (Word) Associate Member (Word) Honorary - The current Governor of the State of Vermont shall be an Honorary Member of this Association. Spouses of deceased members of the Vermont National Guard or of deceased life members of the Association shall also be Honorary Members. The Board of Directors may grant Honorary Membership to other persons in appreciation for special contributions to the Association. Honorary Membership shall not require payment of dues. The NGA-VT Corporate Membership program is designed to sustain and develop partnerships between the Associations, State of Vermont Department of Economic Development, the local business community and the Vermont Army and Air National Guard. The goal of building this partnership is to promote industry involvement in defining the requirements of the National Guard to enhance the readiness and execution of it Federal and State mission. Further, each legislative session, the NGAUS asks for state and industry input to assist in identifying and forming state/industry partnership teams as it prepares its legislative priorities. This information is important in the formation of the annual NGAUS Legislative Objectives. The Legislative Priorities shape the focus of the legislative strategy each year. Membership LevelsNGA-VT offers four levels of corporate membership with fees ranging from $200 to $2,500. Individuals and Small businesses can qualify for the lowest fee. Companies may choose the level of membership and benefits that best fit their needs: Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze. Bronze: The Bronze membership includes certificate of appreciation, recognition at NGA-VT's annual business meeting, subscription to NGA-VT newsletter, Corporate Advisory Panel membership, company name listed on NGA-VT web page.. The Bronze or basic 12-month membership costs $200. Silver: Silver membership adds annual Ad in newsletter, two tickets to the NGA-VT Annual Ball, corporate link on NGA-VT web page, The Silver Corporate membership costs $500. Gold: Gold membership adds Semi-annual 1/4 page Ad in newsletter, two additional tickets to NGA-VT Annual Ball, golf hole sponsor at NGA-VT tournament, Invite to special events. Gold Corporate membership costs $1,000. Platinum: Platinum membership adds assistance with NGAUS resolution process, hospitality room sponsor at NGAUS National Conference, advertising at the national conference via State association distribution boxes. Platinum membership costs $2,500. Join Today!
