Your NGAUS and NGA-VT invites you to join us for the 145th NGAUS General Conference & Exhibition from 18-21 August 2023 in Reno, Nevada. Travel days are 17 and 22 August.
Overview: The NGAUS General Conference is your National Association’s annual business meeting. More than 2,000 Army and Air National Guard officers from all 50 states, three territories and the District of Columbia gather to network, set their legislative agenda and hear from America’s civilian and military leaders. Family members, industry representatives and local officials also attend. See the very latest equipment for Army and Air forces being exhibited by our many Corporate Partners.
Listen to senior leaders from the Army and Air Force talk about your future, meet your counterparts across our great nation and most importantly learn firsthand what the National Guard Association does for all of us. Recent speakers include congressional leaders, cabinet-level secretaries, Army and Air Force Secretaries and Chiefs, and other senior Pentagon officials.

Registration and rooms: Registration is $180. This covers most food and drink, admission to all business sessions, company-grade officer professional development, the exhibition, the mixers, the States Dinner and the Governor’s Farewell. Free ground transportation will be available between the Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) and official hotels.
The Vermont delegation has 20 rooms and a dedicated social suite reserved at the conference’s host hotel the Eldorado Resort Casino see link: www.caesars.com/eldorado-reno . Room rates are $153 a night for a standard room and $163 for an upgraded room with taxes and the resort fee included. Reno is considered much less expensive than Vegas. The New England States are hosting Hospitably Night at the Brew Brothers in the Eldorado Casino on Sunday, 20 August. The Corporate Partner Appreciation Night will be hosted by the New England Team also at the Brew Brothers prior to Hospitality Night commencement.
Uniform: Conference is Class B for official duty, and business casual or NGA-VT polo shirt for non-official participants.
Social Events: See the following for primary social events such as the States Dinner, Hospitality Night and Governor’s Farewell. Other events include golf tournaments, 5K Fun Run, Mt. Rose hike, motorcycle ride, mixers and luncheons. The break in the traditional schedule involves the States Dinner, which usually concludes the conference. In Reno, it’s planned for the evening after the First Business Session on August 19th at the Reno Events Center downtown, just a short walk from hotels. Western Wear is the recommended attire.
